Gabriela Kaufmann Gottlieb was born in Chile, where she studied with Elena Waiss during her early years. In 1970, she moved to Israel where her studies continued with Amira Balat.
Gabriela completed dual Bachelor degrees, studying Piano Performance under Miriam Boskovich at the Rubin Academy of Music and Education at Tel Aviv University. In addition, she studied many years with Noa Blass. In 1983, Gabriela moved to the U.S. to study Piano Pedagogy with Frances Clark in Princeton, NJ. In 1986, she completed her Masters in Piano Performance with Randall Hodgkinson at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA. Gabriela is a pianist who loves to teach and perform in the community. She has recorded several albums and is currently studying with Patricia Parraguez-Chen. Since 1994, she has been a member of DAMTA and SSMTA and lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband Peter and their three children. |
